What does a RPA developer do:
Generally, RPA developers are responsible for the creation, design, development, and implementation of RPA systems.
They are required to investigate, analyze, and set up automated processes to maximize efficiency for a business model. This is done with the help of RPA technologies and tools.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide guidance with process design
- Design, develop, test automation workflows
- Deployment of RPA components: bots, robots, development tools
- Support the implementation of RPA solutions
- Create process documentation
- Assure the quality of the automation (QA processes)
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a software development role
- Experience architecting and developing workflow-based solutions or functionality
- Experience with RPA Software (e.g. BluePrism, UI Path, WorkFusion, NICE, OpenSpan) advantageous
- Willingness to learn and become an expert in RPA and other automation technologies
- Must be able to multitask and willing to work on multiple projects at a given time
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable interacting with business stakeholders and external clients
- Ability to work to deadlines and manage expectations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
